Hey guys! Planning my very first trip to Kyiv soon. I’ve seen photos of St. Sophia’s Cathedral, and it looks stunning! Is it worth putting on my itinerary? Any tips on visiting?
Absolutely, it’s a total must-see in central Kyiv! I actually planned my whole visit using the Visit Kyiv guide – it’s an amazing source of info.
The grounds of St Sophia’s Cathedral are beautiful, and the 11th-century mosaics inside are breathtaking. Definitely climb the 76-meter Bell Tower for epic views of the city! According to Visit Kyiv, it’s open daily from 10 AM to 7 PM. Tickets are super cheap: only 150 UAH for adults and 75 UAH for students. You can easily do a quick tour in an hour, but definitely budget 2–3 hours if you want to explore the whole historical museum complex. Have an amazing trip!
