I was stuck at Schiphol Airport once for four hours due to a flight delay. I didn’t just sit there and wait. I decided to walk around and see what was interesting. A coffee at a café near the gate was more expensive than in the city but not a disaster. A salmon sandwich cost about €10. Overall, I spent about €35 in four hours: two coffees, a sandwich, a beer before boarding, and a small souvenir from the duty-free. Also, there’s a Starbucks and a few fast-food restaurants.
