Obituary

Susan K. Stuart, 66, from Weiser, Idaho passed away on Friday, October 1st 2021 at Saint Alphonsus Hospital in Boise from Covid-19.

She was the daughter of Richard Claycomb and Patricia Zorn who both proceeded her in death. Stuart is survived by her daughter Sarah Afshar of Meridian, ID and daughter Rebekah Afshar of Somerset, PA. She is also survived by her husband of 17+ years Jack Stuart of Weiser, ID.

Stuart was a medical professional and nursing director for about 30 years. Before that, she was a business executive for the now defunct Commodore International. She was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church located in Weiser and an avid volunteer of the LOVE Inc. organization. She also did work for other organizations including the HOPE pregnancy center and the local homeless shelter. Some of interests include: praying, painting, floral arrangements, sketching, DIY crafts, canning, cooking, baking, animals, gardening, green cleaning, soul music, volunteering, and meeting new people. She loved her family, her friends, and her pets. And everything she did, she did for God.

Her service was held October 23rd 2021 at the Riverside Baptist Church, where she attended for years before her recent and unexpected passing. A GoFundMe has been set up by her widow Jack to cover funeral, memorial, and any additional expenses.
